When I first saw Hunter boots 4 years ago in a magazine I just had to have them. I immediately ordered my set of boots online at Hunter boot in Scotland. In just 3 days they were delivered! Thankfully it was a wet fall and snowy winter.
2 years later I saw these smaller Hunter boots at Bijenkorf. Love at first sight. So when there was a discount weekend for shoes I could not resist to order them! For rain boots they are very comfortabele.
Now the only boots missing in my Hunter collection are colourful ones. And whad’ya know, it’s 2 years later and fall…
Valentine’s Day is mostly a day for people in love. Since there is no love interest for me this Valentine it will be all about the people who are special in my life. Parents, sister and brother, dear friends, family and you! So to all I ask… Will you be my Valentine? Xo

Like most women I have a thing for shoes. My good friend Joeri, who takes the photos for this blog as well, noticed this and started a series called “Annettes shoes” a few years ago. He’s constantly asking me to borrow my shoes for his project. So we thought it would be cool / fun to make a theme post reoccuring on my blog. He gets the artistic freedom to make an image with shoes I already have and new ones. As long as he returns them in one piece.
So, this means I have to shop for shoes… all for the blog of course ;-)
To kick the theme off I thought it would be nice to feature my long-time favourite nasty-winter-weather-companions: my Hunter boots.
