For some time now I have been searching for black slip on sneakers. Not easy to find in stores over here but that’s where internet comes in handy. I found them at ASOS. Can’t wait to wear them! Until than Joeri can have his way with them for the photograph.
This week I have a few days off work. It’s time to relax, time for some me-time.
Sleeping in, drinking coffee, reading magazines, doing some shopping, meeting friends and making photos for the blog. Even going to the sauna for the first time. All good things that I am looking forward to. Wish you all a happy week!
Like most women I have a thing for shoes. My good friend Joeri, who takes the photos for this blog as well, noticed this and started a series called “Annettes shoes” a few years ago. He’s constantly asking me to borrow my shoes for his project. So we thought it would be cool / fun to make a theme post reoccuring on my blog. He gets the artistic freedom to make an image with shoes I already have and new ones. As long as he returns them in one piece.
So, this means I have to shop for shoes… all for the blog of course ;-)
To kick the theme off I thought it would be nice to feature my long-time favourite nasty-winter-weather-companions: my Hunter boots.
Finally, after waiting for over a year, I went to see the Hobbit part two with some friends.
It was worth the wait so high hopes for the final part next year.
For now I have to make do with the dvd of part one we got from John (thank you!) while waiting for the last part.
Friday is my day off. My day begins with sleeping in, have some breakfast, shower and than I make myself an espresso or cappuccino. The best way to start my free day, or so I thought. While browsing through my New York cookbook I spotted this ultimate slow coffee. Seriously considering of adding it to my free day repertoire. Or everyday repertoire.
First of all I would like to thank everybody for their nice and sweet comments about the blog! It encourages me to do many more!
For this shoot we went to Naarden Vesting. I used to go there a lot with Jarka and Spikkel, my parents’ dogs. I would love to have a dog in the future but for now just sweet memories. Even though I can get a little green with envy when I see people walking their dogs ;-)

First of all I want to wish everybody a happy new year!
For this post we went on a little stroll through Bussum. It was my first sunday off in 6 weeks so it was good to be out. So far we haven’t had real winter weather but that doesn’t stop me from wearing this Zara scarf. I am not complaining but I still hope for some snow this winter!
